The Detailed Project Report for the Deemed-to-be University status under the Distinct Category (existing) as per clause 7(2) of the UGC regulations 2023 is appended.

It contains information on the sponsoring body and the proposed Deemed-to-be University titled “PSG Institute of Higher Learning”.

The DPR includes the vision, mission, core values and primary objectives of the proposed University, the constituent colleges of the Deemed University, a 15-year detailed Strategic Vision Plan and a 5-year rolling implementation plan, the list and details of the distinct/unique, multi-disciplinary programs proposed under the scheme, and more information about the distinctiveness of each program.

The document expands to give information on the other programs currently being offered by the constituent colleges, the plans to introduce new courses in the existing constituent colleges, the faculty recruitment plan, student admission plan and procedure, scholarship plan, research plan, current and proposed infrastructure plan, information and communication technology plan, governance plan, Corpus fund, finance plan and all the relevant annexures.
